The Bucks Sporting Lunch Club was created in 2011. From humble beginnings, the club now meets twice a year at the prestigious Dorney Lake venue.
Bucks Sporting Lunch Clubs are sponsored by Buckinghamshire based businesses wishing to contribute to the success of young athletes. Local individuals, businesses and Trusts often want to support talented athletes, but until now there has been no easy way to do this.
The Bucks Sporting Lunch Clubs are designed to help aspiring local Olympians/Paralympians achieve their sporting dreams through the charity SportsAid. SportsAid are the National Charity for sport, who working with the governing bodies of sport, support over 2000 talented young sports people each year
Corporate Sponsors and other companies in the region book tables of ten at the lunches as the events are well known for providing high quality sporting speakers, a thriving atmosphere and a wonderful networking opportunity - meeting and greeting new faces from businesses across Bucks. Individual applications are welcomed and interesting tables are put together.
Being a part of this lunch club has a direct appeal to its guests, as well as the young athletes who will appear at the events – to compete in British sport or to invest in it and watch it flourish - all the money raised at the lunches will go solely towards supporting Bucks athletes.
